Shobha Parthasarathi

Shobha is a life sciences executive with over 25 years of experience working at the intersection of science, business, investment, and strategy.
Shobha’s roles across the for-profit and non-profit sectors, innovation platforms and on boards has enabled her to build a global network that spans top-tier academia, venture capital, start-ups, accelerators and incubators, disease foundations, and multinational pharmaceutical and healthcare companies. She has enabled deployment of over $120M into more than 50 startups, catalyzing $6B+ in follow-on funding that have led to multiple FDA-approved products, IPOs and acquisitions.
She currently serves as President at Intovis, LLC and advises academia, pharma, startups, and venture funds on driving and managing innovation. Her prior roles include VP External Innovation and New Ventures at Xontogeny, VP Business Development and Strategic Alliances at Harrington Discovery Institute and Senior Director Technology Development at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center. She serves on several advisory boards and is a committed mentor supporting talent from early career students to senior executives. Some of her Board/Advisory roles include Massachusetts Biomedical Initiatives, Novo Nordisk Bio Innovation Hub, Chicago Biomedical Consortium, Equalize, and Women in Bio.
She received her PhD in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology from University of Medicines and Dentistry New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (now Rutgers University) and began her industry career at Millennium Pharmaceuticals in Cambridge, MA in drug discovery.
