Michelle Khanan

Michelle Khanan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics, graduating Cum Laude from CUNY Hunter College. She is a cybersecurity and computer science professional with hands-on experience in governance, risk, and compliance, and supporting security operations in the public sector. As a Technical Business Analyst with the New York City Department of Social Services, she reviews sensitive data transfer requests and software application approvals, collaborates with engineering and software security teams, and supports vulnerability management and incident response workflows. She has also developed CISO-approved cybersecurity training for agency staff, written agency-wide policy communications reaching thousands of employees, and mentored interns on internal audit processes, and she aspires to build a career strengthening cybersecurity within public institutions to protect the communities they serve.

She is a member of the NobleReach Scholars 2026 Cohort and serves as a Technical Business Analyst at the New York City Department of Social Services.
