Michael Diaz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science, Magna Cum Laude, with an Undergraduate Certificate in Cybersecurity Intelligence and Information Policy from Florida International University, where he honed skills in digital forensics, vulnerability scanning, network monitoring, and threat analysis.

Michael gained hands-on experience through his internship at DHS Homeland Security Investigations, supporting active federal investigations with evidence preservation and formal report writing. He further sharpened his technical expertise through the IC-CAE Intelligence Fellowship at FIU’s Jack D. Gordon Institute, where he conducted independent research. He presented said research at Defense Intelligence Agency headquarters in Washington D.C. He also holds CompTIA CySA+, Security+, and the CSAP stackable credential. Passionate about the intersection of technology and national security, Michael aspires to leverage his technical foundation and federal exposure to protect critical systems and contribute to cyber defense at the national level.
