Katie Hemphill is a relationship-driven talent strategist and ecosystem builder with over a decade of experience connecting high-potential startups, technologies, and teams across entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems. Most recently serving as Director of Technology Ventures & Talent Network at Northeastern University’s Center for Research Innovation, Katie designed and led the CRI’s venture support framework, supporting a portfolio of 50+ spinouts and launching programs including the Entrepreneurship Consultant initiative, which places fractional advisors and operators with academic founders. Outside of her work at Northeastern, Katie founded and continues to lead the Tech to Venture Consortium (T2VC), a national network of nearly 30 research institutions working together to pool resources, share best practices, and connect research-based innovations to investors and ecosystem partners. Through T2VC, Katie also launched and continues to lead Venturium, a multi-institution investor pitch platform designed to bring early-stage research-driven ventures and investors together at scale.
