Joann Hong holds a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity Policy and Governance and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology and Human Development from Boston College. With a strong foundation in cybersecurity policy, governance, risk management, and compliance, she gained hands-on experience as a Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst Intern, conducting internal cybersecurity audits, identifying vulnerabilities, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. She has also drafted cybersecurity incident response plans, participated in cyber attack simulations, and analyzed the implications of global Internet disruptions to critical infrastructure. Passionate about protecting organizational assets, Joann aspires to drive innovative cybersecurity solutions and strengthen risk management practices.
She is a member of the NobleReach Scholars 2025 Cohort in the Computing & Cybersecurity domain and serves as a Information Security Analyst for the City of Oklahoma City.
