Dira Melissa “Mel” Delpech is a dynamic leader at the intersection of STEM, social sciences, and organizational development. As an expert in learning and development, project management, and data-driven insights, Mel specializes in optimizing processes and fostering innovation. She brings a strategic approach to workforce development, stakeholder engagement, and culturally relevant pedagogy, ensuring that organizations achieve both operational excellence and growth. Mel served as the Operations Lead and Program Coordinator at Chain Reaction Innovations (CRI) at Argonne National Laboratory, where she designed impactful learning experiences, drove efficiency in recruitment and professional development programs, and championed initiatives that increase diversity and inclusion in STEM fields. She is also an I-Corps Instructor for the National Science Foundation, guiding entrepreneurial teams through customer discovery and commercialization strategies. A Ph.D. in Engineering Education at The Ohio State University, Mel’s research and professional work are deeply rooted in systemic and systematic changes, critical thinking, and community engagement. Her expertise spans technical communication, strategic planning, and data analytics.
She is a member of the NobleReach Scholars 2025 Cohort in the Business Process Innovation domain and serves as a Senior Program Manager for the City of Oklahoma City.
