Rohan Kachru

Materials and Manufacturing, Rocket Lab

Rohan Kachru holds an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech and a B.S. in Aerospace and Ocean Engineering from Virginia Tech, where he graduated with high honors. At Anduril Industries, he acquired in-depth expertise in control systems and optomechanical systems, gaining valuable insights into material trade selection and optimization studies—while his work in Atlanta allowed him to focus on battery systems and prototype design for propulsion subsystems. His leadership during the NASA RASC-AL competition provided him with a closer look at current NASA projects and deepened his practical understanding of aerospace innovation. Fascinated by aeronautical vehicles and space exploration, he is equally passionate about addressing the socio-economic and political challenges in his field, particularly global supply chain issues and the broader power shifts impacting aerospace dynamics.

He is a member of the NobleReach Scholars 2025 Cohort in the Materials and Manufacturing domain and serves as a Spacecraft Mechanical Engineer at Rocket Lab.
