Minji Kim is pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Informatics, Human-Centered Data Science from the University of Texas at Austin with a minor in Risk Management and a certification in Programming and Computation. She has a strong foundation in Applied Machine Learning and Data Analytics that she integrates with her knowledge in Cybersecurity. She gained hands-on experience as a Undergraduate Researcher, developing an efficient Tiny Vision Language Model that focuses on security and privacy, and she held leadership roles in two student organizations as the President of UT Austin’s Girls Who Code and the Informatics Undergraduate Student Council, where she got to spread knowledge, information, and opportunities to her fellow students on campus. She is passionate about ethically leveraging AI and Machine Learning to support local communities and organizations, and aspires to create secure, impactful applications that prioritize user safety, ethical data usage, and scalability.

She is a member of the NobleReach Scholars 2025 Cohort in the Artificial Intelligence domain and serves as a AI Fellow at the Virginia Innovation Partnership Council.
