Ian Frankel holds a Master’s degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia University, with a strong foundation in critical thinking and large-scale impact of policy and geopolitical developments. He gained hands-on experience through internships as an intern and part-time analyst, focusing on devising effective strategies for aligning private sector innovations with governmental objectives in the aerospace and defense field while also considering complex geopolitical events. There, he honed his creative problem-solving, investigative, and analytical skills. He held leadership roles as a hockey youth coach for the New York Rangers and at Columbia University club hockey team. Passionate about national security and seeks ways to bridge the gap between public and private sector innovation.
