Gregory Mitchell holds dual master’s degrees, one in Energy, Environmental, and Food Economics from The Pennsylvania State University and one in Computational Analysis and Public Policy from The University of Chicago—alongside bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Community Development from Penn State. With a robust background in data science, machine learning, and social science research, he has delivered analytical and technical expertise to government and non-profit leaders, including in a recent role as a data engineering intern at IDinsight in Nairobi, Kenya. He has further demonstrated leadership through his contributions as a teaching assistant in Computer Science Fundamentals and Machine Learning, as well as his active role on Sustainability Committees. Passionate about social impact, Gregory aspires to advance safe and reliable AI applications that strengthen data democracy and enhance service delivery.
He is a member of the NobleReach Scholars 2025 Cohort in the Artificial Intelligence domain and serves as a Data Analyst for Montgomery County Pennsylvania.
